Free radicals

As with the arrests and imprisonment of members of Pussy Riot in Russia, the experience of these Iranian musicians, now exiled in Sweden and Georgia, is a timely reminder that music can still have political significance and potency in challenging the status quo - and that we shouldn't take freedom of expression in music and the arts in general for granted.
