The latest email newsletter from the Academy in Oxford has a section headed "Class Of 2014 - Which bands will graduate this year?", followed by the text "Here's some of the incredible new live acts we think will be big in 2014". Quite why Liars - a band formed 14 years ago and with a history of being stroppy in the live environment and frustrating Oxford-based fans - are included in the list is anyone's guess...
