Maggie's museum

Well, isn't that just wonderful? Not content with spunking £10m of taxpayers' cash on Thatcher's send-off, it's now being proposed that we spunk a further £15m on a tribute museum to the old bag. According to the Torygraph, it "will run training sessions" (presumably on how to be cantankerous, ruthless, greedy and utterly callous) as well as being home to "artefacts from her time in power ... likely to include a selection of her suits and handbags" - so a glorified wardrobe, then. Somehow I suspect that, by contrast, scant consideration will be given to the destruction and misery she and her government (and their policies) wrought on much of the nation.
