I'm not sure what's more depressing: Coldplay's 'Clocks' being named as the best song of the last ten years by Radio 6 Music listeners, or the fact that, of the top ten acts, only one (the White Stripes) feature a woman. Steve Lamacq's claim that the top ten is indicative of "the breadth of 6 Music's tastes" is dubious in the extreme, though it is at least gratifying to see the inclusion of the Flaming Lips' 'Do You Realize??', The National's 'Bloodbuzz Ohio', Radiohead's 'There There' and Johnny Cash's cover of 'Hurt'.
