Have a jolly spiffing day, y'all

Much as it pains me to be annoyed, I DO get annoyed at Americanisms. Which is why it's encouraging to know that Britishisms - "ginger", "sell-by date", "trendy" - are fighting back. I do wonder, though, how Americans were able to describe Belle & Sebastian if they didn't have the word "twee" in their verbal arsenal.
