Post(er) rock

Perhaps it's because I'd seen Sonic Youth live the previous day and because I've had my nose buried deep in David Browne's excellent Goodbye 20th Century: Sonic Youth And The Rise Of The Alternative Nation, but walking past the Richard Goodall Gallery in Manchester's Northern Quarter on New Year's Eve I fell completely in love with this poster. Unfortunately the price tag is £100. Er, how many days until Christmas again?

(Incidentally, there are loads of good - and much more affordable - bespoke gig posters available on the Poster Cabaret website. What with browsing this and photography sites, I seem to have started the year intent on torturing myself with things I can't afford...)
