Feel good hits of the 29th November

1. 'Laser Beam' - Low
2. 'The Bold Arrow Of Time' - Tame Impala
3. 'Dart For My Sweetheart' - Archie Bronson Outfit
4. 'Conversation 16' - The National
5. 'Memory Boy' - Deerhunter
6. 'Paper Cuts' - Nirvana
7. 'I Will Break You' - Sparrow And The Workshop
8. 'Glitter' - No Age
9. 'Main Offender' - The Hives
10. 'Sexxlaws' - Beck

Notes:

1. Not, sadly, a track we were treated to in Coventry last week.

2. In which the Australians temporarily switch from the psychedelia of the mid-to-late 60s Beatles variety to that of Dead Meadow.

3. Coconut wasn't really a good introduction, was it? How exactly did Derdang Derdang pass me by four years ago?

4. High Violet: the best National album yet? I'm undecided.

5. I'm gradually learning to embrace Halcyon Digest, though it's still in the manner of embracing an unfamiliar relative - you know you ought to show affection but instead feel a little awkward and wary.

9. A blast from the past courtesy of the Vinyl Vendettas at Clwb last weekend.

10. To think I'd never seen the video for this until this week...
