Joe Strummer RIP

The Clash: an impassioned yet sensitive critical voice balancing out the wrecking-ball onslaught of the lustily nihilistic Sex Pistols. I'll leave the eloquent obituaries to others - but I would like to say, in the face of an imminent and almost inevitable American-sponsored attack on Iraq, that the words of the Clash song are more relevant than ever. I, for one, am so bored with the USA.
