Los Campesinos! will never be million-sellers, but they mean so much to those who hold them dear - including myself, who watched them graduate from supporting Broken Social Scene at the Point (RIP), to playing upstairs in Dempsey's (RIP), to embarking on the Shred Yr Face tour with No Age and Times New Viking, to commanding festival stages up and down the land.
When they came home to Cardiff on Monday night, after eight years away (and 15 since we first met), it was a case of masks on faces, hearts on sleeves and lumps in throats all round. Here's my Buzz review of a night of high emotion.
