Countdown to extinction?

It doesn't really require an academic to suggest why the Tories are unpopular among non-white voters. The Windrush scandal is just one instance of their disregard or outright contempt for black and ethnic minority communities.

But Rosie Campbell's recent BBC article did make one related and particularly significant point that gives cause for cheer at a time when imbecilic, self-interested Tories seem intent on wreaking as much damage as they possibly can on the future of this country and its citizens. Namely: in years to come, a gradually greater proportion of the electorate will be non-white and living in the Tories' suburban heartlands - so if they can't find a way to appeal to these voters, then their days as a political force are numbered.
