Abandoned

If, like me, you grew up with those haunting images of Romanian orphanages, then these photos - taken by George Georgiou in Serbian/Kosovan mental institutions between 1999 and 2002, and from a project called Between The Lines - will probably look vaguely familiar. Not that they're any less shocking, though.
