Appetite for (self-)destruction

Whatever happened to The Eighties Matchbox B-Line Disaster? Well, if you ever heard the psychobilly/post-punk loons' albums, or had the pleasure and good fortune to see them live, then you can probably guess they came to a messy end - though at least no one died. Piano Wire, formed by ex-members Sym Gharial and Andy Huxley, are an altogether more sober proposition in more ways than one, but their oddball scuzz-pop is certainly not an unwelcome discovery.
