Pushing the right Buttons

OK, so it's not Nevermind dethroning Michael Jackson's Dangerous at the top of the Billboard 200, but I never thought I'd live in a world in which the new Fuck Buttons album would be sitting pretty in the charts at #36, above populist favourites like Stereophonics, The Script, Kanye West, Will.I.Am and One Direction. Of course, I suppose it's at this point that I should be lambasting them as mainstream sell-outs and announcing to anyone who'll listen that I much prefer their early stuff and Benjamin Power's Blanck Mass side-project - but they're not and I don't. Slow Focus is hardly a feast of catchy hooks and singalong choruses.
